My favourite destination in the world. One of the most biodiverse countries on our planet, incredible wildlife around every single corner and a never-ending desire to constantly be outside exploring.

I arrived here in May and spent the month moving around, starting up in the Monteverde cloud forest. Where mornings started with a 5:30am visit to the local empanada store, before getting the 6am bus taking me to the cloud forest reserve where i simply walked the trails every day for a week.

You could spend a lifetime exploring Costa Rica’s wildlife, a month flew by in the blink of an eye and i would go back in a heartbeat.
